⚡ Crucial Rule Checkpoints

12s Shot Clock: Starts the exact instant the ball is cleared beyond the 2-point arc or touched on inbound.

Clearance Rule: Both feet AND the basketball must be established completely behind the arc on change of possession.

21-Point Sudden Death: First team to 21 points wins immediately before the 10:00 buzzer, regardless of margin.

Check-Ball Exchange

The check-ball MUST take place at the top of the key outside the 2-point arc. The defensive player has 3 seconds to return the ball once handed over.

Airball / No-Rim Rebound

If an offensive shot hits ONLY air or backboard, the defense MUST clear the ball beyond the arc. In pickup variations, some play 'take-back on rim only'—clarify before tip-off!

Team Foul Thresholds

Team fouls 7, 8, and 9 award 2 free throws. Team foul 10 and beyond awards 2 free throws PLUS ball possession to the offended team.
